Senior Contracts Officer – Civil Engineering

About the role

The Senior Contracts Officer will lead the full contract lifecycle for civil and construction projects, ensuring that technical, legal and commercial requirements are met. This position works closely with project teams, vendors and internal stakeholders to secure and manage contracts that support the company's objectives.

Key responsibilities

• Review Scope of Work (SOW) specifications with requesters to ensure accuracy and completeness.
• Prepare and issue tender documents (ITT, RFP, RFQ) and evaluate bids based on technical and financial criteria.
• Draft and issue final contractual instruments such as Purchase Orders, Blanket Purchase Agreements and Service Maintenance Agreements.
• Administer contracts during execution, including delivery follow‑up, acceptance certificates and non‑conformance resolution.
• Negotiate prices, timelines, payment schedules and other terms with contractors.
• Monitor vendor performance, manage change orders, and oversee contract closure while ensuring compliance with legal and regulatory standards.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering (or equivalent).
• Minimum five years of experience in purchasing/contract management.
• Strong communication and customer‑relation skills in English.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office; experience with ERP systems is preferred.
• Ability to obtain a UAE driver’s licence.
