Application Support Engineer – Exchange Platform

About the role

The Exchange Production Support team at Crypto.com is looking for an Application Support Engineer to ensure the stability and performance of its global cryptocurrency trading platform. You will work 24x7 with business users, providing L2/L3 technical assistance and owning the production environment for key services.

Key responsibilities

• Provide technical support to sales, institutional and retail customers, focusing on application, API and network connectivity issues.
• Identify, own and resolve production incidents, coordinating with technical and business teams to meet SLA targets.
• Manage release activities, participate in audit reviews and execute Business Continuity Planning exercises following ITIL best practices.
• Monitor and automate alerts across applications and infrastructure to maintain system uptime; maintain knowledge base and SOP documentation.
• Drive continuous improvement by automating manual tasks, optimizing processes and enhancing service levels.

Required profile

• Minimum 2 years of production support experience, preferably in banking or financial services.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills in English.
• ITIL certification is a plus.

Required skills

• UNIX command line debugging.
• SQL querying.
• Bash and Python scripting.
• FIX protocol and API support.
• Linux/Java‑based systems knowledge.
• Exposure to Cloud technologies and DevOps utilities.
• Familiarity with monitoring tools such as Grafana, Prometheus, Control‑M, ITRS Geneos or Dynatrace.
