MIS Officer

About the role

The MIS Officer will prepare accurate financial and operational reports, support month‑end closings, and ensure data consistency across systems. This role enables timely business decisions through reliable MIS reporting and reconciliation support.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare monthly MIS reports, including P&L and Balance Sheet by store, region, and business unit.
• Assist in month‑end closing activities such as ledger scrutiny, provision entries, and pre‑payment adjustments.
• Review general ledger and trial balance entries to verify accuracy and resolve discrepancies.
• Reconcile intra‑company transactions for purchases, sales, and transfers.
• Coordinate insurance for retail outlets, warehouses, offices, and other assets.
• Generate supporting reports for management, finance, and internal departments.
• Assist with closing financial modules within ERP systems during monthly periods.
• Maintain MIS documentation, policies, and audit trails for compliance.

Required profile

• 2‑5 years of experience in Management Information Systems or IT management, preferably in a leadership role.
• Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related field.
• Strong analytical, problem‑solving, and project‑management abilities.
• In‑depth understanding of MIS principles, data security, and compliance standards.
