Arabic Teacher (Full‑Time)

About the role

The International School of Choueifat – DIP is seeking a dedicated Arabic Teacher to join its faculty in Dubai. The role focuses on enabling student success and academic achievement through the SABIS® curriculum and teaching methodology.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver Arabic lessons using provided lesson plans or develop plans based on pacing charts.
• Mark exams and assessments according to departmental schedules.
• Discuss disciplinary and performance issues with the Academic Quality Controller and Head of Department.
• Implement the SABIS® point system to maintain a conducive learning environment.
• Invigilate exams and support low‑performing students to improve motivation and results.
• Prepare students for external examinations by reviewing past papers as scheduled.
• Assist with additional duties such as testing, substitute teaching, student logistics, and administrative tasks.
• Participate in student‑life activities, including art, open house, and physical education events.
• Attend training sessions to deepen understanding of the SABIS® system.
• Undertake other related tasks or projects as delegated by school management.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field or equivalent qualification.
• Native Arabic speaker.
• Ability to meet all local employment, certification, reference and background‑check requirements.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively within a team.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.
