About the role

GEMS Founders School Al Mizhar in Dubai is seeking a passionate Art Teacher to deliver a dynamic visual arts curriculum to motivated students in Key Stages 3 and 4. The successful candidate will join a world‑class school environment and contribute to a creative, student‑centred learning experience.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, prepare and deliver engaging art lessons aligned with the National Curriculum for England.
• Assess student work, provide constructive feedback and maintain accurate records of progress.
• Manage classroom resources, art materials and studio spaces safely and efficiently.
• Collaborate with colleagues to integrate cross‑curricular projects and school events.
• Participate in staff meetings, professional development and school community activities.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Art, Fine Arts or a related field.
• Qualified teaching certification (BEd, PGCE, PGDE or equivalent).
• Minimum two years of experience teaching KS3/KS4 under the National Curriculum for England.
• Demonstrated record of outstanding teaching and learning outcomes.
