Assembly Production Technician – Dubai

About the role

The Assembly Production Technician will join HALCON’s manufacturing team in Dubai, assembling precision mechanical and electrical components according to engineering drawings and quality standards. The role demands meticulous attention to detail and the ability to work with small, complex parts in a fast‑paced production environment.

Key responsibilities

• Perform precision assembly of components and sub‑assemblies following engineering drawings, technical specifications and work instructions.
• Use and maintain precision measuring tools such as vernier calipers, micrometers, gauges and calibration equipment.
• Ensure assembled parts meet required tolerance, dimensional and quality standards, and conduct final testing.
• Identify, report and document defects, non‑conformities or process issues to assembly leads.
• Maintain accurate production records, assembly documentation and inspection reports.
• Support process‑improvement and industrialisation activities to enhance assembly efficiency.
• Manage tool, equipment and material handling in line with lean practices and maintain a clean work environment.
• Analyse consumption trends, forecast inventory needs and prepare regular inventory reports.
• Collaborate with production, quality and engineering teams to meet project timelines and production targets.

• Strong attention to detail and ability to work with small, complex mechanical and electrical parts.
• Technical aptitude for interpreting engineering drawings and specifications.
• Commitment to following safety guidelines, quality standards and lean manufacturing practices.

Required skills

• Proficiency with precision measuring tools: vernier calipers, micrometers, gauges.
• Experience using calibration equipment.
• Knowledge of inventory management and stock control processes.
• Familiarity with lean manufacturing and process‑improvement techniques.
