Associate Project Engineer - Proposal

About the role

We are looking for an Associate Project Engineer – Proposal to support our customers by reviewing RFQs, developing technical proposals and preliminary designs, and delivering complete power system solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Apply fundamental concepts and procedures of power system proposals.
• Review customer RFQ documents, evaluate bid decisions, and develop work statements, preliminary designs, risk assessments and cash‑flow forecasts.
• Collaborate with contracts to finalize terms and conditions both on‑site and from SEL offices.
• Complete assigned work within scope, schedule and budget while maintaining quality and safety standards.
• Follow SEL Values, Principles of Operations and World Class Manufacturing principles.

Required profile

• B.S. in Electrical Engineering or a related discipline.
• Self‑motivated with a continuous desire to learn and solve problems.
• Willingness to travel domestically and internationally (minimum 25%).
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work cooperatively in a team environment and pass background and drug tests.
