Assistant Credit

About the role

The State Bank of India RHO is seeking an Assistant Credit to support its Credit Department in Dubai. The role involves preparing reports, maintaining credit records and providing analytical support to the Regional Head.

Key responsibilities

• Compile and submit daily/periodic credit MIS, reports, returns and statements.
• Follow‑up and monitor review/renewal of credit facilities, ensuring compliance with sanction terms and credit‑monitoring requirements.
• Maintain and update credit records, registers, trackers and databases.
• Coordinate with branches and other departments to obtain credit proposals, prepare follow‑up letters, official correspondence and meeting agendas.
• Provide analytical, administrative and management support, including preparation of presentations and performance reviews for the Credit Department/Regional Head.

Required profile

• Previous experience in a credit role within a financial institution.
• Relevant work experience in the UAE/DIFC.
• Professional qualifications or certifications in Credit, Banking or Finance.
• Familiarity with the banking and regulatory environment.
• Strong communication, organisational, coordination and interpersonal skills.
