Associate Landscape Bid Specialist

About the role

The Associate – Landscape Bid Specialist drives business growth for AECOM’s Landscape Architecture practice by leading pursuit planning, capture management and proposal development across the region.

Key responsibilities

• Identify, qualify and pursue strategic opportunities, developing bid and capture strategies aligned with regional growth objectives.
• Lead the preparation of high‑quality technical and commercial proposals, presentations and interview submissions, coordinating multidisciplinary pursuit teams.
• Support pricing strategy, commercial positioning and cost proposal development to maximise win probability and profitability.
• Conduct market intelligence, competitor analysis and pipeline tracking to spot emerging opportunities and trends.
• Mentor bid coordinators and business development staff, promoting best practices and continuous improvement.

Required profile

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Landscape Architecture, Architecture, Urban Design, Master Planning or related discipline.
• 5‑7+ years of experience in leading landscape architecture, design or engineering consultancies in the GCC, with a proven track record in bid coordination and successful project pursuits.
• Strong commercial awareness, experience with fee proposals, resource planning and comparative analysis of bids.
• Familiarity with UAE authority requirements, permitting processes and sustainability frameworks (e.g., Dubai Municipality, Estidama) is advantageous.
