Bilingual PR Account Manager – Government Sector

About the role

MISBAR Communications, a leading PR and strategic communication agency in the UAE, is looking for an experienced Bilingual PR Account Manager to lead a portfolio of high‑profile governmental institutions. The role involves strategic advisory, media management and occasional secondment within government entities.

Key responsibilities

• Serve as the primary liaison for senior government clients, aligning communications with national priorities and institutional values.
• Act as an embedded communications advisor during secondments, representing MISBAR with professionalism and strategic insight.
• Develop and execute integrated PR strategies for policy communication, public outreach and reputation management.
• Build trusted relationships with senior government stakeholders and decision‑makers.
• Create content such as speeches, press releases, opinion pieces and official statements in line with government protocols.
• Identify media opportunities, secure interviews and manage engagements across print, broadcast and digital platforms.
• Plan and execute press conferences, official events and media campaigns.
• Monitor media coverage and public sentiment, delivering data‑driven reports with actionable recommendations.

Required profile

• 7+ years of experience in public relations or government communication, preferably within an agency or public sector.
• Proven ability to advise senior government officials and manage high‑stakes, policy‑driven communications.
• Fluent in Arabic and English with excellent writing, editing and presentation skills in both languages.
• Bachelor’s degree in Public Relations, Communication, Journalism, Political Science or a related field.

Required skills

• Deep understanding of the UAE and GCC media landscape and strong relationships with key journalists.
• Expertise in crisis communication, reputation management and strategic messaging.
• Ability to thrive under pressure and manage multiple priorities.
