Business Transformation Officer (1-year contract)

About the role

Lead the business transformation and change agenda for Al Tayer Insignia's SAP ERP programme, ensuring business readiness and successful adoption across retail functions. You will act as the key link between business, technology and operational teams, driving process redesign, governance and organisational readiness.

Key responsibilities

• Drive business process transformation and SAP ERP adoption across finance, merchandising, store operations, supply chain, omnichannel and digital functions.
• Own the business delivery plan, overseeing scope, timelines, risks, dependencies and outcomes in partnership with the Programme Director and Group IT.
• Coordinate business readiness activities, preparing functional teams for deployment and go‑live.
• Collaborate with senior stakeholders, implementation partners and vendors to align on programme objectives and resolve cross‑functional challenges.
• Support programme governance, reporting to sponsors and senior leadership and present clear business guidance.
• Lead the Al Tayer Insignia team allocated to the programme, managing resource allocations and accountability.

Required profile

• Proven experience leading large‑scale business transformation programmes within retail or a similarly complex consumer‑focused organisation.
• Strong SAP ERP transformation experience with a clear understanding of business impact and adoption requirements.
• Demonstrated ability to work across business, technology, implementation partners and vendors to deliver outcomes.
• Experience operating at senior leadership / Director level in a complex transformation environment.
• Deep knowledge of retail functional workstreams such as finance, planning, merchandising, store operations, supply chain, omnichannel and digital.
