AI Technical Product Manager – Remote

About the role

Join Tether’s QV.AC team to shape a privacy‑preserving, on‑device AI assistant that runs locally on users’ devices. You will work closely with the Product Lead to translate the QV.AC vision into concrete use cases, define AI features, and bring them to market. This role requires a strong interest in AI, the ability to turn emerging capabilities into usable products, and a passion for making complex technology easy to use.

Key responsibilities

• Collaborate with the Product Lead to turn the QV.AC vision into detailed use cases, feature proposals, and product requirements grounded in user research and experimentation.
• Gather user feedback, conduct research, and identify where AI can solve meaningful problems versus simpler alternatives.
• Write product briefs, user stories, acceptance criteria, and user flows that guide engineering and design.
• Create wireframes, mockups, and working prototypes using AI‑assisted tools to test concepts quickly.
• Work with engineers to evaluate technical trade‑offs such as latency, memory, battery consumption, and privacy impacts.
• Support backlog prioritisation, scope clarification, and coordinate feature delivery through development, testing, and release readiness.

Required profile

• 7+ years of product management experience, preferably on AI software products with technical engineering teams.
• Hands‑on experience building, shipping, or prototyping AI‑powered features and the ability to articulate your contributions.
• Solid understanding of AI concepts (inference, model capabilities, context, evaluation) and interest in local/on‑device AI.
• Proven ability to translate ambiguous ideas into clear user problems, solutions, and actionable requirements.
• Strong communication skills to discuss technical trade‑offs with engineers and explain them to non‑technical stakeholders.
