CAD / MicroStation Technician – Roads & Infrastructure

About the role

We are looking for an experienced CAD / MicroStation Technician to join our Roads & Infrastructure design team. The successful candidate will be responsible for creating, updating and maintaining precise engineering drawings and technical documentation for road, highway and related civil projects.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and develop detailed engineering drawings, plans, profiles, sections and construction/IFC drawings using MicroStation and AutoCAD.
• Maintain drawing standards, scales, coordinates, levels, dimensions, layers and CAD conventions.
• Collaborate with engineers and designers to ensure drawings meet project specifications and local authority requirements.
• Support project documentation management and file sharing using relevant project tools.
• Assist in reviewing and updating existing drawings to reflect design changes.

Required profile

• Diploma or certificate in Civil Engineering, Drafting, CAD or a related discipline.
• Minimum 5 years of hands‑on CAD drafting experience on roads, highways or infrastructure projects.
• Strong familiarity with UAE/GCC road and infrastructure design standards is highly preferred.
• Experience working in engineering consultancy environments.
