Chef de Cuisine - Italian and Mediterranean Cuisine

About the role

The Chef de Cuisine will lead the Italian and Mediterranean kitchen at Hyatt Regency Dubai Creek Heights, ensuring seamless operations that align with Hyatt International’s brand standards and corporate strategies. You will be accountable for delivering exceptional guest experiences while managing the outlet as a profit centre.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee daily kitchen operations, maintaining high standards of food quality and service.
• Control food costs, labour budgeting and overall financial performance of the outlet.
• Ensure compliance with kitchen hygiene practices and occupational health and safety regulations.
• Develop and maintain menu items, recipes and inventory using the Recipe Maintenance System.
• Train, mentor and schedule kitchen staff to achieve optimal productivity.
• Collaborate with front‑of‑house teams to guarantee guest satisfaction.

Required profile

• Minimum 2 years experience as Chef de Cuisine or Sous Chef in a reputable hotel or restaurant, preferably a luxury international brand.
• Proven expertise in Italian and Mediterranean cuisine.
• Strong knowledge of kitchen hygiene and occupational health & safety standards.
• Basic proficiency in MS Office and familiarity with a Recipe Maintenance System.
• Fluent in English and Italian.
