Director of Design and Technical Services - Corporate Office

About the role

The Director of Design and Technical Services will lead the planning, coordination and delivery of hotel and resort projects across the IMEAT region, ensuring alignment with brand standards and Accor’s corporate strategy.

Key responsibilities

• Lead end‑to‑end design management of new‑build, takeover and renovation projects from concept through opening.
• Review and provide strategic direction on design documentation, including concept, schematic, design development and construction drawings.
• Act as regional point of contact for owners, interior designers, architects and lighting consultants.
• Collaborate with suppliers to ensure specification alignment, quality control and timely procurement.
• Conduct site visits, design review meetings and produce written reports with recommendations.
• Maintain accurate project records, interior design trackers and reporting tools.
• Prepare and present project briefs, area programmes and status updates to senior leadership.
• Manage project budgets and timelines, identify risks and make key decisions to resolve challenges.

Required profile

• Exceptional design sense with strong experience in architectural detailing.
• Proven experience in architectural planning and design within a hospitality context, including back‑of‑house areas.
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet critical deadlines.
• Deep understanding of hotel and resort interior design across rooms, F&B, public areas and meeting spaces.
