Commercial Roofing Inspection Technician

About the role

The Field Resource Inspection Technician performs commercial roofing inspections, ensuring accuracy, quality, and safety on job sites. Working independently or with a foreman, the technician documents all inspection activities and reports findings.

Key responsibilities

• Perform scheduled roof inspections (TremCare, QA, QA Plus) on time and to specification.
• Complete all required documentation, forms, and electronic records promptly.
• Review work orders, conduct safety activities, and take photographic evidence of each phase.
• Read and apply project specifications, verify material compliance, and check proper storage.
• Walk the roof with the foreman to assess drainage, staging, application details, and overall workmanship.
• Observe, document, and communicate any issues or deviations during the inspection.

Required profile

• Experienced commercial roofing inspector with knowledge of low‑slope roofing systems.
• Familiarity with Tremco product line and its proper applications.
• Strong focus on safety and ability to follow safety protocols.
• Ability to work independently, manage time effectively, and maintain professional conduct.
