About the role
The Commis Chef will support the Pastry Chef in producing Arabic pastry and bakery items for the hotel’s outlets and banquets. The role ensures that all products meet the hotel’s quality standards and contribute to financial targets.
Required profile
- Apprenticeship or professional diploma in Food Production with a pastry specialization.
- Minimum 2 years experience as a Commis Chef or 1 year apprenticeship in a larger operation.
- Strong practical and administrative abilities with a flair for creativity.
- Thorough knowledge of kitchen hygiene practices and occupational health and safety standards.
- Basic computer proficiency in MS Office and familiarity with a Recipe Maintenance System.
