Consultant Gastroenterologist (Female) Dubai

About the role

We are looking for a highly qualified Female Consultant Gastroenterologist to join our multidisciplinary healthcare team in Dubai. The role involves diagnosing and treating a wide range of gastrointestinal, liver, pancreatic, and digestive disorders while delivering patient‑centered care in line with international standards.

Key responsibilities

• Diagnose and manage diseases of the gastrointestinal tract, liver, pancreas, and gallbladder.
• Perform diagnostic and therapeutic endoscopic procedures, including gastroscopy and colonoscopy.
• Develop individualized treatment plans, monitor patient progress, and ensure compliance with DHA regulations.
• Collaborate with surgeons, radiologists, dietitians, and internal medicine specialists.
• Maintain accurate patient records and participate in quality‑improvement initiatives.
• Educate patients and families on treatment plans, preventive care, and lifestyle modifications.
• Supervise junior medical staff as needed.

Required profile

• MBBS or equivalent degree recognized by DHA.
• Board certification/fellowship in Gastroenterology.
• DHA license or eligibility letter for Consultant Gastroenterologist.
• Minimum 5–7 years post‑specialisation experience in a reputable hospital.
• Strong communication skills and fluency in English; Arabic or Hindi is a plus.
