Consultant Medical Oncologist – Western Board Certified

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Consultant Medical Oncologist to join a leading private healthcare group in Dubai. The role involves delivering comprehensive, evidence‑based oncology care to patients with a wide spectrum of malignant diseases.

Key responsibilities

• Provide diagnosis, treatment planning and management of systemic anti‑cancer therapies (chemotherapy, immunotherapy, targeted and hormonal therapy).
• Monitor treatment response, toxicity and patient outcomes, adjusting plans as needed.
• Participate in multidisciplinary tumour boards and coordinate care with surgeons, radiation oncologists, radiologists, pathologists and specialist nurses.
• Deliver cancer screening, prevention, risk assessment and survivorship care.
• Offer supportive and palliative care, and counsel patients and families on prognosis and treatment options.
• Maintain accurate, confidential patient records and comply with UAE healthcare regulations.

Required profile

• Western Board certification in Medical Oncology.
• Significant clinical experience in a reputable hospital or cancer centre.
• Strong knowledge of international oncology guidelines and evidence‑based practice.
• Excellent communication skills for patient and multidisciplinary team interaction.

Required skills

• Systemic anti‑cancer therapy administration (chemotherapy, immunotherapy, targeted therapy, hormonal therapy).
• Interpretation of pathology, imaging and molecular/genetic findings.
• Multidisciplinary tumour board participation.
• Clinical audit and quality improvement initiatives.
