Consultant Orthopedic Surgeon – Tax-Free UAE Opportunity

About the role

A leading multispecialty hospital in Dubai is expanding its Orthopedic Department and seeks a Consultant / Specialist Orthopedic Surgeon. The role involves delivering high‑quality surgical and non‑surgical care to a diverse international patient base in a tax‑free environment.

Key responsibilities

• Diagnose and manage a wide range of musculoskeletal conditions.
• Perform elective and emergency orthopedic surgeries, including fracture fixation, joint replacements, and arthroscopic procedures.
• Evaluate and treat trauma patients such as fractures, dislocations, and soft‑tissue injuries.
• Develop individualized treatment plans that incorporate both conservative and surgical options.
• Conduct pre‑operative assessments and post‑operative follow‑ups to ensure optimal outcomes.
• Collaborate with anesthesiologists, physiotherapists, and rehabilitation specialists.
• Manage chronic orthopedic conditions including osteoarthritis, spine disorders, and sports injuries.
• Utilize advanced diagnostic imaging (X‑ray, MRI, CT) for accurate diagnosis and treatment planning.
• Provide patient education on injury prevention, rehabilitation, and recovery processes.
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation and electronic medical records in compliance with hospital standards.

Required profile

• Board‑certified orthopedic surgeon or specialist with at least 3 years post‑certification experience.
• Experience in both outpatient and inpatient orthopedic care.
• Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team in a modern hospital setting.
• Familiarity with advanced imaging technologies and rehabilitation services.
