Coordination Engineer – Project Management

About the role

The Coordination Engineer will lead the day‑to‑day activities of a multidisciplinary project team, ensuring engineering deliverables, site inspections and reporting are aligned with schedule commitments. Acting as the primary liaison with the client’s project management team, the role guarantees smooth communication and timely resolution of open items.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate daily tasks of the project team across engineering, site inspections, field investigations and reporting.
• Serve as the main point of contact with the client’s project management team, handling correspondence, meeting minutes and action tracking.
• Prepare, review and submit project deliverables, progress reports and technical documentation according to contractual deadlines.
• Monitor and update the project schedule, identify risks and report deviations to the Senior Project Manager.
• Coordinate site activities with QA/QC inspectors, quantity surveyors and field supervision staff.
• Maintain the project document management system, ensuring version control and accessibility.
• Manage the GIS‑based works register in collaboration with the GIS Engineer.
• Organise and chair internal coordination meetings, producing agendas, minutes and action logs.
• Attend client meetings, present progress updates and address technical queries.
• Consolidate inputs for monthly progress reports and support subcontractor management.
• Assist in risk and opportunity management by maintaining the risk register.
• Ensure compliance with SUEZ and client HSE requirements.

Required profile

• Engineering degree in Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or an equivalent discipline from a recognised university.
