Cover Supervisor – Secondary

About the role

The Dubai British School Jumeirah Park is seeking a dedicated Cover Supervisor for secondary classes. You will step in when regular teachers are absent, ensuring continuity of learning and a positive classroom atmosphere.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise secondary classes in the teacher’s absence, maintaining order and focus.
• Deliver pre‑prepared lessons and support students as they complete tasks.
• Manage behaviour in line with the school’s policy and keep students on task.
• Provide constructive feedback to the regular teacher regarding progress and conduct.
• Promote an inclusive, respectful environment that aligns with the school’s values.

Required profile

• Strong classroom‑management abilities.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Flexibility to handle various subjects and adapt to different classroom settings.
• Organisational competence and professionalism.
• Awareness of cultural diversity within an international school community.
