Customer User Researcher – Part‑Time (Remote)

About the role

Ethos is seeking an experienced Customer User Researcher to help train a cutting‑edge language model on professional documents, spreadsheets, and slide decks. The role is fully remote, part‑time, and offers flexible hours ranging from 5 to 20 per week.

Key responsibilities

• Create, evaluate, and refine AI‑generated documents, spreadsheets, and slide decks for core workflows.
• Develop moderated usability‑test findings decks and synthesize customer interview data into thematic coding summaries.
• Design survey instruments, analyse results, and produce write‑ups.
• Write discussion guides, screener criteria, and tag research repositories.
• Produce journey‑map documents that translate findings into product recommendations.

Required profile

• 4+ years of experience conducting customer or user research (interviews, usability testing, surveys) with end‑to‑end ownership.
• Fluency in thematic coding methods, survey design, and statistical analysis.
• Ability to turn raw research data into insight decks and journey‑map documents.
• Expert‑level craftsmanship in documents, spreadsheets, and slide decks with strong written communication.

What we offer
