Director of Public Relations (All Genders)

About the role

As the PR Director you will shape VAVE’s global reputation, translating design work into compelling stories that reach the right audiences at the right moment. You will lead a multicultural team across time zones and work closely with senior leadership, business development, and subsidiary general managers.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute VAVE’s brand communication and PR strategy aligned with business goals and cultural identity.
• Build and maintain an international media network across Europe, China, and West Asia.
• Plan and coordinate PR activities across channels, offices, and markets, ensuring persuasive messaging at every touchpoint.
• Oversee content creation for the website, social platforms, press releases, and project descriptions, maintaining a consistent tone of voice.
• Manage submissions to leading design awards and coordinate project documentation, including photo and video shoots.
• Act as the public ambassador for VAVE both online and offline.
• Track PR performance, report results to the board, and control the PR budget.

Required profile

• 5+ years of experience in public relations or brand communications, preferably within a creative consultancy, design, or architectural environment.
• University degree in communication, journalism, PR, marketing, or a related field.
• Outstanding writing, editing, and storytelling abilities in English; German and/or Chinese are strongly desired, Arabic a plus.
