Female Consultant – Obstetrics & Gynaecology (Urogynaecology) in Al Ain

About the role

We are seeking a highly skilled Female Consultant in Obstetrics & Gynaecology with subspecialty training in Urogynaecology to join a leading healthcare facility in Al Ain. The role involves delivering comprehensive care for women with pelvic floor disorders, urinary incontinence, and complex uro‑gynecological conditions while also providing high‑quality general obstetric and gynaecology services.

Key responsibilities

• Diagnose and manage urogynecological conditions such as urinary incontinence, pelvic organ prolapse, overactive bladder, voiding dysfunction, recurrent UTIs and pelvic floor dysfunction.
• Perform comprehensive assessments including urodynamic testing, cystoscopy and pelvic floor evaluation.
• Provide conservative and surgical management, including vaginal and laparoscopic prolapse repair, mid‑urethral sling procedures, pelvic reconstructive surgery and hysterectomy when indicated.
• Deliver obstetric and general gynaecology care across outpatient and inpatient settings, covering pre‑, intra‑ and post‑operative phases.
• Collaborate with physiotherapists, urologists, colorectal surgeons, radiologists and other specialists for multidisciplinary care.
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation and participate in quality improvement, teaching and research activities.

Required profile

• Medical degree (MBBS or equivalent) from a recognised institution.
• Specialist training in Obstetrics & Gynaecology.
• Fellowship or formal subspecialty training in Urogynaecology/Pelvic Floor Reconstruction.
• Minimum five years of relevant clinical experience.
• Female candidate able to provide gender‑sensitive patient care.
