Female Maths Teacher - American Curriculum

About the role

A school in Abu Dhabi is looking for a female maths teacher to teach high school students using the American curriculum. The role involves planning lessons, assessing progress and collaborating with colleagues to improve the mathematics curriculum.

Key responsibilities

• Teach mathematics to high school students using the American curriculum
• Develop and implement engaging lesson plans that meet the diverse needs of students
• Assess student progress and give feedback to improve learning outcomes
• Collaborate with colleagues to strengthen the mathematics curriculum
• Take part in professional development activities to improve teaching practice

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Mathematics plus a teaching licence or certification
• At least 2 years of teaching experience, preferably in science
• Experience working with young children preferred
• Experience with the American curriculum preferred
• Child protection certificate or safeguarding training
