General Manager – Luxury Hospitality & Wellness Resort

About the role

The General Manager will lead SHA Mexico, a flagship luxury resort that blends world‑class hospitality with preventive medicine and holistic wellness. Reporting to senior leadership, you will shape strategy, drive operational excellence, and ensure unforgettable experiences for a high‑profile, international clientele.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee all operational areas, including Rooms Division, Food & Beverage, Finance, and Commercial functions.
• Implement a hands‑on leadership style to maintain consistency, quality, and a strong cultural engagement across departments.
• Develop and retain a high‑performing leadership team capable of delivering strategic and operational results.
• Manage financial performance: budgeting, revenue management, cost control, KPIs, and CAPEX planning.
• Ensure seamless, personalized guest journeys for VIP and international guests.
• Act as the public face of the property, engaging with guests, stakeholders, and media.
• Promote innovation, continuous improvement, and compliance with legal, safety, health, and environmental standards.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality Management, Hotel Administration, Business Administration or related field.
• Advanced studies in Wellness Management, Luxury Hospitality, or an MBA (preferred).
• Minimum 15 years of luxury hospitality experience, including 3‑5 years in a General Manager or Director of Operations role.
• Proven experience with international ultra‑luxury brands.
• Fluent in English and Spanish; additional languages are a plus.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Property Management Systems and other operational software.
• Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office.
• Advanced knowledge of Google Workspace.
