Governance Risk & Compliance Consultant

About the role

Vistra is seeking an experienced Governance, Risk & Compliance (GRC) Consultant to join its Dubai team. Reporting to the GRC Manager, you will support regulated financial service providers in the DIFC and ADGM, ensuring compliance, anti‑money‑laundering, and risk management standards are met.

Key responsibilities

• Act as compliance officer, Money Laundering Reporting Officer (MLRO) and risk manager for multiple DIFC/ADGM regulated entities.
• Maintain strong relationships with clients, regulators, authorities and business partners.
• Oversee time registration, client invoicing and follow‑up on outstanding payments.
• Report delivery issues and complaints to management.
• Drive participation in GRC projects, framework development, regulatory updates and quality‑control initiatives.
• Collaborate with senior management to develop new services and improve efficiency.

Required profile

• Minimum three years of senior‑level experience in compliance, MLRO or risk management within financial services.
• Master’s degree in law, finance, business administration or a related field.
• Registration with the DFSA, FSRA or another financial regulator as a responsible individual for compliance, MLRO and risk functions.

Required skills

• In‑depth knowledge of financial‑services regulatory requirements.
• Proven experience performing compliance, MLRO and risk‑management duties at senior level.
• Strong interpersonal and consultancy skills for communicating with senior stakeholders, regulators and auditors.
• Attention to detail and commitment to high‑quality work.
