Head of Photography

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Head of Photography to lead the photography function within Huda Beauty’s in‑house Creative Agency. Reporting to the Art Director, you will translate approved creative direction into high‑quality photographic assets and oversee the end‑to‑end process from shoot planning to final delivery across regional markets.

Key responsibilities

• Translate creative direction into photographic execution, ensuring visual intent is accurately realized.
• Lead photography for campaigns, product, e‑commerce, social and other productions, maintaining high creative and technical standards.
• Provide senior‑level direction on lighting, camera setup, capture and visual execution during shoots.
• Manage a team of in‑house photographers and retouchers, setting priorities, giving feedback and ensuring timely delivery.
• Own the photography workflow from asset capture through selection, post‑production, quality control and final export.
• Oversee studio equipment, maintenance, inventory and procurement to keep the studio fully operational.
• Establish and maintain photography and post‑production standards, identifying opportunities for quality and efficiency improvements.

Required profile

• 7+ years of professional commercial photography experience, including senior or leadership roles.
• Strong studio background with expertise in lighting, digital capture and controlled‑lighting environments.
• Proven ability to translate creative direction into high‑quality assets across multiple channels.
• Experience managing and developing photographers, retouchers and post‑production artists.
• Excellent leadership, communication and collaboration skills with cross‑functional teams.
