Graduate Design Specialist – UAE Nationals

About the role

This 24‑month graduate program at AECOM is designed for UAE nationals who want to start a career in creative and graphic design. You will work on a variety of digital and offline projects, acting as a brand ambassador for AECOM while developing your design expertise.

Key responsibilities

• Perform creative and graphic design tasks to produce digital layouts, web graphics, video, UX, 3D, proposals and other collateral.
• Create compelling visual designs for print and digital media, including social media graphics, website mock‑ups and presentations.
• Research industry trends and incorporate best practices into design work.
• Collaborate with copywriters, marketers, developers and other cross‑functional teams to ensure designs meet project goals.
• Revise and refine designs based on feedback from stakeholders and ensure compliance with brand guidelines.
• Manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet tight deadlines.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, Visual Communication, Digital Media, Architecture or a related field with a minimum GPA of 2.8.
• Proficiency with Adobe Creative Cloud and digital layout/3D/UX tools.
• Strong visual communication, creativity and attention to brand consistency.
• Effective communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to handle several tasks, meet deadlines in a fast‑paced environment and stay up‑to‑date with emerging design tools.
