Health Care Assistant – Patient Care (Full‑Time)

About the role

The Health Care Assistant will support safe, patient‑focused care within the clinic, ensuring a clean and well‑stocked environment. This role contributes to the achievement of the clinic’s strategic goals while maintaining confidentiality and compliance with hospital policies.

Key responsibilities

• Prioritize daily tasks to keep the clinic operating efficiently.
• Maintain cleanliness of medical equipment and examination rooms.
• Ensure compliance with safety, infection control, and security procedures.
• Monitor clinic stock levels and remove expired items.
• Uphold Joint Commission International Accreditation (JCIA) standards for hygiene.
• Complete environmental assessments and mandatory education within required timeframes.
• Assist senior nursing staff with additional duties as needed.

Required profile

• Minimum 1–2 years experience as a healthcare assistant or caregiver.
• Basic education (9‑12 years) plus a Health Care Assistant certification course.
• Fluent in English; Arabic is desirable.
• Ability to assess patients’ physical and psychological needs.
• Strong coordination and care‑planning skills.

Required skills

• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Heart Saver certification.
