Health & Safety Officer – Factory

About the role

Join one of the world’s largest food companies as a Health & Safety Officer in a factory environment. You will be responsible for embedding best safety practices, delivering training, and managing incident reporting in line with the ADOSH framework.

Key responsibilities

• Implement and monitor best safety practices across the factory.
• Ensure all personnel receive required safety and health training as stipulated by HSE standards.
• Assist in incident reporting, investigation, analysis and risk assessment according to the ADOSH system.
• Participate in quarterly Safety Department reviews and update the HSE manual.
• Maintain safety records, certificates and documentation required under ADOSH.
• Brief and instruct subcontractors on safety procedures and monitor their compliance.
• Define and specify appropriate PPE for all workers.
• Coordinate with factory security staff and provide first‑aid or emergency assistance when needed.
• Support the company’s sustainability policy and ESG commitments.

Required profile

• At least 1 month of relevant experience in health, safety or HSE functions.
• Familiarity with the Occupational Health and Safety Abu Dhabi (ADOSH) framework.
• Ability to conduct safety training, incident investigations and risk assessments.
• Strong communication skills for interacting with stakeholders, subcontractors and security staff.
