Industrialization and Automation Engineer – Electronics

About the role

Eaton is expanding its new sustainable campus in Dubai and seeks an Industrialization and Automation Engineer – Electronics to lead the automation of printed‑circuit‑board‑assembly (PCBA) production. You will bridge product design and manufacturing, driving Industry 4.0 initiatives and ensuring cost‑effective, reliable processes.

Key responsibilities

• Partner with cross‑functional teams to identify and evaluate automation opportunities.
• Develop and implement automation strategies, equipment selections, and mechanical designs that meet Eaton’s quality and safety standards.
• Prepare RFQs, work with suppliers, and oversee the deployment of automation solutions for PCBA manufacturing.
• Integrate shop‑floor systems with MES/ERP for traceability, data collection, and production reporting.
• Translate product design requirements into manufacturable solutions, ensuring Design for Manufacturing (DFM) alignment.
• Standardize industrialization methodologies, drive OPEX/CAPEX optimization, and perform ROI analyses.

Required profile

• Engineering degree in Electronics, Mechanical, or related field.
• Proven experience in industrialization, automation, or manufacturing engineering for electronic assemblies.
• Strong analytical mindset with ability to evaluate cost‑benefit of manual vs automated solutions.
• Excellent collaboration skills to work with R&D, supply chain, and production teams.
