About the role
GMS Dubai is looking for a qualified and passionate Islamic Studies Teacher to join its academic team. The successful candidate will deliver engaging lessons, foster an inclusive classroom environment, and support students' academic and personal growth.
Key responsibilities
- Deliver Islamic Studies lessons in line with the school curriculum.
- Create a positive, inclusive, and supportive learning environment.
- Plan and prepare lessons, activities, and assessments.
- Monitor student progress and provide guidance for improvement.
- Maintain effective classroom management and discipline.
- Support students' personal growth and character development.
- Collaborate with fellow teachers and school management to enhance learning outcomes.
Required profile
- Bachelor’s degree in Islamic Studies or a related field.
- B.Ed. qualification (mandatory).
- Minimum 2–3 years of teaching experience.
- Previous experience in a CBSE school is preferred.
