Junior Engineering Maintenance Assistant (Paint Workshop)

About the role

Join the Aircraft Appearance Centre at Emirates Engineering and support the paint workshop that delivers high‑quality livery, interior finishes and surface treatments for Emirates’ fleet and third‑party aircraft. You will work under the supervision of a Licensed Aircraft Engineer, assisting with routine maintenance and ensuring a clean, safe work environment.

Key responsibilities

• Clean tools, equipment and components used in paint and maintenance operations.
• Assist senior staff with basic aircraft and component maintenance tasks such as lubrication.
• Report any defects observed during work to the designated Engineer.
• Maintain cleanliness of vehicles and maintenance support equipment.
• Help with the maintenance, usage, cleaning and proper storage of tools and spares.
• Perform any additional tasks assigned by supervisors to meet work targets.

Required profile

• Minimum 10 years of schooling or equivalent.
• Preferred experience in an engineering paint environment.
• Ability to operate equipment, machinery and tools safely and efficiently.
• Effective communication skills in English.
