About the role
The Key Account Manager will drive profitable sales growth for our retail business in the United Arab Emirates. Reporting to the Senior Director‑Retail UAE, the role combines strategic account planning with day‑to‑day sales execution to meet revenue, trade‑spend and DSO targets.
Key responsibilities
- Develop and execute account‑specific sales strategies to increase revenue, profitability and customer retention.
- Manage key account business plans, set sales targets and monitor performance against volume, value and profitability goals.
- Lead a team of Key Account Executives, overseeing portfolio growth, assortment planning, product launches and Joint Business Plan execution.
- Conduct regular market visits, performance reviews and business update meetings with customers and internal stakeholders.
- Build and maintain long‑term relationships with key customers, lead annual contract negotiations and ensure high levels of customer satisfaction.
- Collaborate with Trade Marketing, Supply Chain, Finance and Category Management to ensure seamless execution and compliance with credit policies.
Required profile
- Strategic direction and leadership for assigned key accounts.
- Responsibility for day‑to‑day sales operations and execution excellence.
- Ability to build, manage and strengthen relationships with key customers and strategic partners.
- Experience in delivering sales, category, trade‑spend and DSO targets.
