Kids BJJ Mentor – Full‑time On‑site Role in Dubai

About the role

The Kids BJJ Mentor will lead age‑appropriate Brazilian Jiu‑Jitsu classes for children in Dubai, fostering technique, discipline, respect and confidence. This full‑time, on‑site position requires planning engaging lessons, supervising drills and maintaining a safe training environment.

Key responsibilities

• Design and deliver structured BJJ lesson plans for various skill levels.
• Supervise warm‑ups, drills and technique sessions while ensuring safety.
• Monitor student progress, provide constructive feedback and track development.
• Communicate regularly with parents or caregivers about class expectations and individual growth.
• Assist with class administration, event support and competition coordination.
• Collaborate with fellow instructors to uphold high training standards.

Required profile

• Strong Brazilian Jiu‑Jitsu proficiency with experience teaching or mentoring children.
• Ability to manage groups of children with a patient, safety‑focused approach.
• Basic understanding of child development and age‑appropriate training methods.
• Physical fitness suitable for demonstrating techniques and leading multiple classes.
• Commitment to inclusivity, cultural sensitivity and respectful behavior in a diverse international setting.
• Previous experience in a martial‑arts academy or sports club is preferred; coaching certifications or first‑aid/CPR training are an advantage.
