About the role

Technology Innovation Institute’s AI Research Center is seeking a Lead AI Researcher to drive cutting‑edge research in artificial intelligence. The role will guide projects from concept through implementation, mentor junior talent, and collaborate across engineering and product teams to turn scientific breakthroughs into real‑world solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Design and execute original research in machine learning, deep learning, natural language processing and computer vision.
• Lead multiple research projects, ensuring delivery aligns with the institute’s strategic objectives.
• Develop novel algorithms and models for deployment in practical applications.
• Stay abreast of the latest AI advancements and integrate emerging technologies into ongoing work.
• Collaborate with engineers, data scientists and product teams to translate research outcomes.
• Present findings through reports, presentations and publications at top‑tier conferences.
• Mentor junior researchers and interns, fostering best‑practice methodologies.
• Uphold ethical standards and responsible AI practices throughout all activities.

Required profile

• PhD in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence or a related discipline.
• Minimum 5 years of research experience in AI or closely related fields.
• Proven record of peer‑reviewed publications in reputable journals or conferences.
• Strong analytical, problem‑solving and communication abilities.
• Demonstrated capability to lead teams and manage complex research projects.
