Low Voltage Electrical Engineer – EPLAN CAD

About the role

Eaton is seeking a Low Voltage Electrical CAD Engineer to design and develop low‑voltage electrical distribution systems for automation projects. You will work within a multidisciplinary team in Dubai, contributing to sustainable power‑management solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Design and develop low‑voltage electrical systems and components for automation projects.
• Create detailed electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and layout drawings using CAD tools.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to define project requirements and specifications.
• Conduct feasibility studies and technical assessments for new projects.
• Develop and standardise industrialisation methodologies, processes and best practices.
• Translate product design requirements into manufacturable solutions, ensuring Design for Manufacturing (DFM) alignment.
• Select appropriate electrical components and materials, ensuring compliance with industry standards and safety regulations.
• Troubleshoot and resolve electrical design issues during development and testing phases.
• Provide technical support and guidance to junior engineers and technicians.
• Participate in design reviews and contribute to continuous‑improvement initiatives.
• Prepare and maintain comprehensive documentation for all design activities.

Required profile

• University degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
• Minimum 5 years of experience designing low‑voltage electrical systems.

Required skills

• EPLAN CAD (or equivalent electrical CAD software).
