Managing Director – Digital Marketing Agency (UAE)

About the role

The client, a fast‑growing digital marketing agency in the UAE, is seeking a highly commercial and entrepreneurial Managing Director to lead the next phase of growth. Reporting directly to the Founder/Group CEO, you will own the UAE business and drive expansion across the GCC.

Key responsibilities

• Own full P&L responsibility and deliver ~40% operating profitability.
• Develop and execute a scalable commercial growth strategy, targeting 2‑4x revenue expansion.
• Expand market presence across the UAE and GCC, including Saudi Arabia.
• Build enterprise‑level client relationships, strategic partnerships, and new service offerings.
• Improve recurring revenue, client retention, and account expansion.
• Lead, mentor and grow a high‑performing senior leadership team.
• Enhance operational efficiency, productivity, and revenue per employee.
• Introduce governance, performance management frameworks, and scalable processes.
• Support strategic initiatives such as partnerships, acquisitions, and market expansion.

Required profile

• Senior leadership experience in digital marketing, advertising, media, SEO, performance marketing, MarTech or agency environments.
• Proven track record of scaling businesses (2‑4x revenue growth) with full P&L ownership.
• Strong commercial, sales and business development capabilities.
• Deep knowledge of UAE and GCC markets with an extensive professional network.
• Experience building profitable recurring‑revenue models and managing agency economics.
• Entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to operate autonomously.
• Experience leading senior leadership teams and driving transformation or scale‑up initiatives.
