About the role

A leading data management solutions company in Abu Dhabi is seeking a Material Engineer to join its data management division. The role focuses on MRO material cataloguing, data cleansing and taxonomy development for the oil and gas sector.

Key responsibilities

Maintain and verify material master data, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
Perform stock verification and support procurement and inventory management processes.
Develop and manage technical dictionaries and taxonomy structures.
Execute data cleansing, de‑duplication and content management activities.
Collaborate with engineering and operations teams to align material data with project requirements.

Required profile

Minimum five years of experience in material cataloguing or data management, preferably within oil and gas.
Background in mechanical or oil‑and‑gas engineering disciplines.
Strong understanding of MRO processes and inventory control.
