About the role

Shanahan Engineering is looking for an experienced Mechanical QC Inspector for an immediate assignment in the United Arab Emirates. The role focuses on inspection and quality surveillance of mechanical installations, testing and commissioning of both static and rotating equipment. The contract is initially for six months with the possibility to extend up to one year.

Key responsibilities

Conduct inspection and quality surveillance of mechanical installation, testing and commissioning activities for static and rotating equipment.
Renew and maintain inspection records, drawings, Inspection Test Plans (ITPs) and project documentation.

Required profile

Minimum of 10 years of relevant mechanical inspection experience.
Strong background inspecting static and rotary equipment and knowledge of alignment, testing and inspection requirements.
Previous experience on UAE projects is highly advantageous.
