Operations Coordinator – Waste Management

About the role

We are seeking an Operations Coordinator to join our UAE operations team in Dubai, supporting environmental solutions in the waste management sector. The role involves overseeing vehicle rosters, driver schedules, and fleet utilization to ensure efficient waste collection services.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare vehicle rosters, route maps, and duty schedules for drivers and helpers, allocating vehicles according to client requirements.
• Generate daily collection summaries, fleet and manpower utilization reports in Excel and the company’s application, and submit them to the Operations Manager.
• Enter trip sheets, waste manifest forms, disposal coupons, and fuel consumption data into Excel and the company system, maintaining proper filing.
• Coordinate with the workshop team for vehicle repairs and maintenance to keep the fleet operational.
• Monitor renewal of company permits, vehicle registrations for waste transport, and GPS device updates.
• Plan and schedule trips, manage daily collection fleets and routes, and analyze route capacity.
• Collaborate with other teams to optimize routing and fleet performance.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or diploma holder with a valid UAE driving licence.
• 3‑5 years of experience in waste management operations, preferably in fleet management.
• Experience in operational management of waste collection.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel for reporting and data entry.
• Data entry accuracy and familiarity with fleet management applications.
