Operations Manager – NDT & Inspection Services

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Operations Manager to lead Non‑Destructive Testing (NDT) and inspection services across onshore, offshore and marine environments. The role combines technical leadership, operational excellence, client management and business growth.

Key responsibilities

• Lead day‑to‑day NDT and inspection operations, ensuring safety, efficiency and timely project delivery.
• Plan and optimise manpower, technicians, equipment and resources to maximise utilisation and productivity.
• Monitor project schedules, costs and profitability, taking corrective actions when required.
• Ensure timely completion of NDT reports, project documentation and technical deliverables.
• Provide technical leadership for NDT Level III activities, develop and review project‑specific NDT procedures.
• Oversee the application of NDT methods such as Radiographic Testing, Ultrasonic Testing, Magnetic Particle Testing, Liquid Penetrant Testing and Phased Array Ultrasonic Testing.
• Guarantee that all NDT personnel are qualified, certified and competent before deployment.
• Participate in technical meetings, audits, site inspections and client assessments.
• Lead and coordinate field teams to ensure effective manpower utilisation and productivity.

Required profile

• Minimum 10 years (≈120 months) of experience in NDT and inspection services.
• Proven ability to manage subcontractors and optimise resources.
• Strong operational cost‑control and manpower‑planning skills.
• Demonstrated leadership in delivering safe and profitable projects.
• Excellent client‑relationship management and business‑growth orientation.
