PMC Lead Planning & Cost Engineer

About the role

Wood is seeking a PMC Lead Planning and Cost Engineer to join the ADNOC Offshore project team in Abu Dhabi. The role will be based at the client’s office and will support project planning, scheduling and cost control activities for a major offshore development.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain detailed project schedules and cost baselines.
• Monitor progress against schedule and budget, providing earned‑value analysis and forecasts.
• Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure alignment of planning and cost data.
• Prepare regular reports for senior management and client stakeholders.
• Identify risks and propose mitigation measures to keep the project on track.

Required profile

• Relevant engineering degree (e.g., Mechanical, Civil, Petroleum) or equivalent experience.
• Proven experience in planning and cost engineering on large offshore or upstream projects.
• Strong understanding of project controls, scheduling and cost management principles.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work on‑site with client teams.
