PMC Senior Construction Superintendent - Mechanical

About the role

Wood’s Oil, Gas & New Energies business delivers large, complex projects for global energy companies. The PMC Senior Construction Superintendent – Mechanical will lead construction supervision, coordination and management of mechanical scope on EPC projects in Abu Dhabi. This senior position ensures work is completed on schedule, safely and to client specifications.

Key responsibilities

• Facilitate construction supervision, management and coordination of the FEED/EPC contract scope.
• Review and provide input to construction/installation plans and procedures to ensure constructability.
• Supervise and inspect work of EPC contractors and subcontractors, ensuring compliance with ADNOC Offshore policies.
• Identify construction slippage, recommend corrective actions and manage change effectively.
• Coordinate with procurement, project controls and operations teams to align material delivery and schedule.
• Participate in HSE improvement activities and pre‑commissioning activities.

Required profile

• Bachelor of Engineering in Mechanical.
• Minimum 15 years of oil and gas industry experience, including at least 5 years in a similar senior construction superintendent role.
• PMC experience on offshore EPC brownfield projects and facility upgrades is highly preferred.
