MEP Engineer – Power & Substation Projects

About the role

We are seeking an experienced MEP Engineer to lead design review, coordination, site supervision, installation, testing, and commissioning of MEP systems for power and substation projects in Abu Dhabi.

Key responsibilities

• Review MEP design calculations, drawings, specifications, material submittals and contractor technical submissions.
• Coordinate MEP contractor input drawings with internal civil, electrical and design teams to resolve multidisciplinary interfaces.
• Prepare and review Bills of Materials and material requisitions for pumps, plumbing, lighting and small power systems.
• Supervise site activities, ensuring installation, testing and commissioning meet approved drawings, specifications and HSE requirements.
• Manage FAT inspections, monitor progress and ensure equipment, materials and manpower are available according to schedule.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.
• 5–8 years of MEP engineering experience, preferably on power/substation projects.
• Proven experience in design review, site supervision, installation, testing and commissioning of HVAC, fire protection, plumbing, lighting and small power systems.
• Strong ability to coordinate with clients, consultants, contractors and multidisciplinary teams.
