Primary Teacher (Academic Year 2027/2028)

About the role

Aldar Education are currently seeking an outstanding Primary Teacher for the Academic Year 2027/2028. Candidates must have solid knowledge of the English National Curriculum and a proven track record of raising standards and closing learning gaps. The role requires strong leadership, teamwork, and alignment with the school’s core values and regional culture.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement department policies and practices aligned with the school’s vision and high standards.
• Use data to identify underachieving students and create action plans to support them.
• Ensure schemes of work are in place, regularly reviewed and include provisions for SEN/POD, G&T, and EAL students.
• Evaluate teaching quality, set standards, and take actions for improvement.
• Manage department resources, budgets, and staff performance.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in a related subject with PGCE or equivalent teacher qualification.
• Minimum of 3 years teaching experience, preferably with the UK curriculum.
• Demonstrated ability to raise standards and close learning gaps.
• Leadership experience and ability to work collaboratively in a team.
• Commitment to safeguarding and promoting child welfare.
