About the role

Aldar Education is seeking an outstanding Primary Teacher for the Academic Year 2027/2028 in Abu Dhabi. The role involves delivering the English National Curriculum and contributing to the school’s high standards of achievement.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement department policies aligned with the school’s vision and high standards.
• Use data to identify under‑achieving students and create action plans for support.
• Design and regularly review schemes of work for all year groups, including provisions for SEN/POD, G&T, and EAL.
• Evaluate teaching quality, set staff expectations, and drive continuous improvement.
• Contribute to the school’s CAS Programme and after‑school Booster/Revision Sessions.
• Manage team performance, resources, and departmental budgets effectively.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in a related subject with PGCE or equivalent teacher qualification.
• Minimum of 3 years teaching experience, preferably with the UK curriculum.
• Demonstrated leadership skills and ability to work collaboratively.
• Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.

Required skills

• Knowledge of the English National Curriculum.
• Experience with UK curriculum teaching.
• Ability to analyse school data for informed decision‑making.
