Procurement Officer – Perfume Industry

About the role

iGOP is seeking an experienced Procurement Officer from the perfume industry to manage both local and international purchasing. The role involves sourcing products and raw materials, negotiating with suppliers, and handling import‑export operations.

Key responsibilities

• Source and evaluate local and international suppliers and traders.
• Negotiate prices, payment terms and delivery schedules.
• Manage import and export operations, including shipping and customs documentation.
• Issue and follow up on purchase orders until delivery.
• Visit suppliers, markets and trade partners outside the office.
• Coordinate with accounting and warehouse teams on invoices and stock levels.
• Maintain purchasing records and reports in the system, Excel and Google Workspace.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (mandatory).
• Minimum 3 years of procurement experience in the perfume industry.
• Proven experience in local and international purchasing, import and export.
• Strong negotiation skills and ability to handle frequent field visits.
• Immediate availability.

Required skills

• Advanced Microsoft Excel.
• Hands‑on experience with accounting/ERP systems.
• Experience with Phoenix software (strong plus).
• Strong working knowledge of AI tools in Google Drive / Google Workspace.
